The Anthonia and Declan Egbujiobi Foundation was born in the place of prayer. My husband and I prayed and asked God for direction on how best we can positively impact lives. The Lord laid in our hearts a ministry to prisons. He opened our eyes to the reality of countless people illegally detained in prisons and police custody, and since they cannot afford legal services, they languish in detention. Hence ANTODEC Foundation was conceived. Our vision was to be the voice for illegally detained people, working to ensure that yearly, hundreds of these people find legal aid to enable them to get their freedom. We also had the vision to see these people reintegrated into society. Today, that vision has expanded. While we speak for illegally detained people, we are passionate about empowering women and children in Africa. Now, ANTODEC Foundation reaches out to the vulnerable in society, empowering them with skills and equipping them with startup funds to begin their journey to financial freedom.
