Part of the Mission of ANTODEC Foundation is to Promote Justice for illegally detained inmates and decongestion of prisons In Nigeria and beyond.
In an attempt to give voice to the voiceless, a team was sent to Suleja correctional facility in 2019 to visit the inmates.
Food Items, toiletries and other gift items were distributed to the inmates, who received them with joy. A feeling of hope was rekindled in their heart. Also more than 10 inmates who after listening to their stories and who had just minor offences and could could not afford fines to ensure their release, fines where paid on their behalf and they were released.
This is not a one off activity as ANTODEC Foundation will continue to give voice to the voiceless; restore hope to the hopeless and give back to the Society.
