The 8th of March has been earmarked International Women’s Day. Since 2018, ANTODEC Foundation has been celebrating the International Women’s Day in a Grand style; Empowering women in Nigeria.
On this day, widows, young and vulnerable women are taught culinary skills; how to make soap, Zobo, Puff Puff Meat Pie, Sausage Roll, Peanuts, Egg Rolls and so on by experts.
After the training, the foundation gives them startup funds and equipment to begin their journey to financial independence.
Testimonies have not stopped coming in from the women, who have continued to pray for the founders and the foundation.
With more support from organisations, government and individuals, more women will be empowered.
